Bonnet Shores Beach Club is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to its
members. For
most of us, Bonnet Shores is more than soft sand and gentle waves. It is
where we grew up, formed friendships, found love, and raised children of
our own. It is a place rich in moments that can never be replaced. It is
where we have lived the summers of our lives. Some
of those moments can be recalled through snapshots and home movies. But no
work of art has captured the magic of this place, until now. The
Bonnet Shores Beach Club presents Bonnet
Point October, a signed limited edition fine art print by Robert
McMahon.
Bonnet Point October
depicts the timeless encounter between the rugged rocks of the Point
and the relentless Atlantic Ocean. The
original oil painting was finished in 2006. It has been converted by the
latest digital technology into a 20 x 40 inch giclee print on canvas. The
giclee process faithfully reproduces every brushstroke and nuance of
color. Pigments and canvas are of premium quality, from a printmaker who
produces editions for America’s finest museums and galleries. Bonnet Point
October will be limited to an
edition of 250 prints, signed and numbered by the artist, for $695 each. Robert McMahon is a professional artist who grew up in Narragansett. His first job was at Bonnet Shores Beach Club. He worked here every summer until he graduated from the University of Notre Dame. His family lives at Bonnet, and he has painted the Point in every kind of weather. He believes that Bonnet Point October is the best he has ever done. Click
